UT Arlington

Blaze, the UT Arlington MascotImage via Wikipedia

This weekend I'm visiting the University of Texas at Arlington. We should have a few hours free Friday night and Sunday morning. Any suggestions on things to do or see or places to eat. Things that would help my son decide if UTA is a good fit for him would be best. I do like baseball, is the museum at Rangers Ballpark worth a visit? Thanks.

Yes, visit the museum at the Rangers Ballpark. The tour of Cowboys Stadium is also a good thing. Try to catch a show at the Planetarium on campus. Arlington has some great restaurants. Try the Cheesecake Factory at the Parks Mall or Buck n Loons on South Cooper. Going to the Parks Mall is good also. Great Barnes and Noble store. One of the best things about coming to UT Arlington is that there are plenty of job opportunities in the Metroplex after graduation. Employers are always seeking out UTA grads.
